Language and Literacy underpin every aspect of learning for our pupils. Through personalised communication approaches—including AAC, sensory stories and emergent literacy skills—we equip learners to express themselves, understand their world and build meaningful relationships. Developing functional literacy supports independence, choice‑making and engagement in community life as pupils grow into young adults.  Pupils enjoy daily lessons in Phonics, Reading, English and Snack & Story sessions, along with a range of cross‑curricular opportunities to develop their literacy skills.
