Dear Parents /Carers,
I cannot believe that we are again faced with a possibility of heavy snow locally over the weekend. I am really hoping that it won’t happen and that the roads around school will not be effected especially as we have our re-arranged Quiz Night tomorrow evening here. Please continue to look at the website for the latest news about conditions at school if we get snow in the next couple of days. It is predicted to clear by Tuesday morning.
I am looking forward to seeing the climax of our very exciting Science week this afternoon. It has been really great to hear how well the different sessions especially the visit from the insects and snakes and the code breaking afternoon have enthused pupils of all ages. Our thanks go to all staff and especially Mrs Worf for all her hard work in organising the week.
As we come to the end of another busy term, we are always looking ahead to what improvements and innovations are coming up. Our next big project is to run a pilot for a new IEP sheet which links to the EHC plan objectives more clearly and also to pilot the assessment for progress against the EHC plan objectives. This is another huge piece of work and we are very lucky that we have such talented and experienced Senior Leaders who are able to initiate new and creative ways of working to support both pupils and parents.
I hope that you all have a very relaxing weekend with no severe weather to worry about (fingers crossed).
